Microsoft is a billion-user ecosystem that most UK advertisers run no properly optimised campaigns on. That is not an awareness problem. It is a specialism problem. We exist to fix it.
The Micro Agency is pro-intelligence, not anti-Google. Google is where most demand is captured and it should stay that way. But concentrating almost all of search spend on one engine is a measurable risk, and Microsoft's ecosystem holds audiences, targeting and pricing that generalists leave on the table because nobody on the team owns it.
The name works on two levels. Micro as in Microsoft, the platform we specialise in. Micro as in a lean, senior boutique, where the people who win the work are the people who do it. We do one thing, and we do it properly: build for the Microsoft ecosystem from the ground up, and prove the incremental value it adds.

Tom Goodwin is a performance marketing and AI consultant and the founder of GAMEPLAN, a performance, media and technology consultancy in London. Fifteen years in performance marketing, £20m+ in paid media managed, Google Premier Partner status earned in 2024. He co-founded The Micro Agency to build the Microsoft specialism the market keeps treating as an afterthought.
