Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 June 2026

This policy explains how The Micro Agency Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use this website or contact us. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. We process personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

The Micro Agency Ltd is a specialist Microsoft Advertising agency based in London, United Kingdom. You can reach us about any privacy matter at tomgoodwin8@gmail.com.

What data we collect

  • Information you give us. When you submit the contact form, request the report, or email us, we collect details such as your name, work email, company, message, and optional context like your monthly advertising spend band and engagement type.
  • Booking information. If you book a call, our scheduling provider (Cal.com) collects the details needed to arrange it, such as your name, email and chosen time.
  • Technical information. Standard server and security logs (for example IP address and user agent) may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the site.

How we use your data, and our lawful basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the information or audit you asked for. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
  • To send you the report and, where you have agreed, occasional related insights. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To keep the website secure and operational. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in protecting our systems.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and respond to you, acting on our instructions as processors. These currently include our hosting provider (Cloudflare), our form-delivery provider (FormSubmit), and our scheduling provider (Cal.com). Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and analytics

This is a static site that avoids unnecessary third-party scripts and does not set advertising cookies. Embedded content you actively load (such as a Cal.com booking embed) may set its own cookies under its own policy. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and client correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it. Report and marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email tomgoodwin8@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
